What’s your style of wedding photography?
My style is relaxed, natural and story-led. I’m not there to turn your wedding into a six-hour photoshoot or make everyone feel like they’re being held hostage by a man with a camera.
I’ll guide you when needed, especially for portraits and family photos, but for most of the day I’m looking for the real moments: the laughs, the nerves, the chaos, the tears, the dodgy dancing and all the little bits you probably didn’t even notice happening.

Do you take formal family photos?
Yes, absolutely. I know formal family photos aren’t always the most exciting part of the day, but they’re usually the ones that become really important over time.
I’ll help keep them organised, quick and painless. Ideally, we’ll plan a short list before the wedding so nobody disappears to the bar just as they’re needed. There is always one. Always.

What was your most memorable wedding?
One that really stands out was a Russian and Greek Orthodox wedding. It was packed with incredible traditions, emotion, laughter and a few customs I definitely hadn’t seen before — including the groom being invited to drink vodka from his future mother-in-law’s shoe.
I politely left that bit to the professionals.
It was a brilliant day with a beautiful couple, full of personality and unforgettable moments, which is exactly what makes a wedding so special to photograph.

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. I’m based in South Wales, but I regularly travel for weddings across the UK and further afield.
Whether you’re getting married in Cardiff, the Cotswolds, London, Scotland, France or halfway up a mountain somewhere, I’m always happy to chat through the plans. Travel and accommodation costs may apply depending on the location, but I’ll always be clear about that upfront.

Do you photograph destination weddings?
Yes, and I love them. Destination weddings usually have a completely different energy because everyone is together for more than just a few hours. There’s often more time, more atmosphere and more story to capture.
I can cover weddings abroad, including France and Europe, and I’ll help build a clear quote that includes photography, travel, accommodation and any extras so there are no nasty surprises.

How long do you stay on the wedding day?
Most full-day weddings are covered from morning preparations through to the first dance and a bit of the evening madness afterwards.
That gives me enough time to tell the full story of the day, from the quiet getting-ready moments right through to your guests deciding they’re professional dancers after three proseccos.
Shorter coverage is available for smaller weddings, elopements or weekday ceremonies.

Do you offer engagement shoots?
Yes, and I genuinely think they’re one of the best things you can do before the wedding.
An engagement shoot gives you a chance to get used to being photographed without the pressure of the wedding day. Most people start by saying, “We’re awkward in photos,” and then about ten minutes later they’re completely fine. It’s also a great way for us to get to know each other before the big day.

We hate having our photo taken. Can you still help?
Definitely. Most couples tell me this.
My job is not to make you feel like models. My job is to make you feel comfortable enough that you forget about the camera as much as possible. I’ll give simple direction when needed, keep things relaxed, and avoid anything that feels stiff, cheesy or painfully awkward.
No forced catalogue poses. No “look wistfully into the middle distance as though you’ve just remembered you left the oven on.”

How many photos will we receive?
That depends on the length and type of wedding, but for a full day you can usually expect a carefully edited collection that tells the story properly.
I don’t believe in dumping thousands of near-identical images on you just to make the numbers look big. You’ll receive the best images from the day, edited in my style and ready to download, share and print.

How long does it take to receive our wedding photos?
Delivery times can vary depending on the time of year, but I’ll always give you a clear idea when you book.
During busy wedding season, galleries naturally take a little longer because each wedding deserves proper care and attention. I’d rather do the job properly than rush it out and hope nobody notices.

Do you work with a second photographer?
Yes, some packages include a second photographer, and one can usually be added if needed.
A second photographer is especially useful if you both want morning prep covered, if you have lots of guests, or if the ceremony/reception space has a lot happening at once. It gives you more angles, more reactions and more of the story.

The best first step is to get in touch with your wedding date and venue. I’ll check availability and we can arrange a quick chat, Zoom call or you can come for a complimentary engagement shoot..
Once you’re happy to go ahead, I’ll send over the booking details, contract and deposit information. Your date is only secured once the booking fee is paid and the paperwork is completed.
